Monday: From Chilly to 70s This Week! Any Rain?

Some good weather news ahead for much of the week. We still need rain and we will probably see some late week. Here are your weather headlines for October 5, 2015

  • Joaquin continues tracking away from Bermuda and the USA-Good news
  • Incredible rain totals in South Carolina with some 3-4 day totals of over 25″
  • That heavy rain is not coming here
  • Clouds and sun back and forth today with a cool wind
  • Highs in the 60s but feeling like 50s with the wind
  • Tides are not as high as over the past weekend
  • A warmer afternoon expected tomorrow and really nice Wednesday with 70s
  • A slight cool down Thursday
  • A cold front comes through Friday afternoon and evening with a period of light rain expected
  • Right now next weekend looks quiet at this point
  • Some frost possible for NW & NE hills Sunday morning
  • We will continue watching the tropical Atlantic-nothing much going on right now thank goodness
  • I will be live on the green in Southington this coming Friday morning 5AM-7AM for #GilOnTheGreen
