Body pulled from Connecticut River

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials are trying to identify the body of a man that was pulled from the Connecticut River in Middletown.

Police say that the body of an adult male was found near a boat launch. His identity is not being released at this time, pending notification of the deceased’s family.

Investigators say that they do not believe that foul play was involved in the man’s death.

Anyone with information is asked to give police in Middletown a call.
