Troopers say the vehicle crossed over to the southbound lane, hit an embankment, then rolled over and struck a tree. The vehicle came back onto the roadway landing on its roof and slid across the roadway and hit the metal guardrail. Southwick was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
