Two children taken from Hartford DCF found

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford Police tell News 8 that two children were taken from the Department of Children and Families by their mother Tuesday night. Those children have since been found

An earlier possibility of an Amber Alert has been cancelled by police. The 7-year-old and 7-month-old are safely back in the custody of DCF officials.

Just before 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Hartford Police stated that an Amber Alert would be released shortly followed by the ages of the two missing children.
