SEYMOUR, Conn. (WTNH) — Seymour Police have arrested a woman they say inappropriately touched and fondled a teenager at a local skate park.

37-year-old Jennifer Johnson faces charges of risk of injury to a minor, sexual assault, and breach of peace. Seymour officers responded to the skate park at the local Community Center after they received a report of a woman trying to lure kids to her vehicle.

Officers arrived on scene Tuesday and located Johnson in a vehicle with a juvenile female. The juvenile, who appeared nervous, was removed from the vehicle by the investigating officers.

Investigators say Johnson was to meet up with a 16-year-old male at the skate park for a sexual encounter. When the teen didn’t show, officers say she began making inappropriate comments and sexual innuendos to other teenagers in the area. Johnson allegedly fondled one of the teens “in an aggressive and sexual manner on “sensitive areas” of the teenagers’ body.” She continued to act irrationally at which time officers responded to investigate.

Johnson was later taken into custody without incident and remained held on bond until her Wednesday court date.
