24-year-old Kasiana Goodman was the driver of the van. Goodman was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury for treatment of a head contusion. A passenger, Michael Parenty was also taken to St. Mary’s, however he was not suffering from any apparent injury.

Two other passengers had to be extricated from the vehicle by rescue crews. Scott Duello and Jonathan Meckenna both suffered head, neck, and back injuries and were transported to St. Mary’s for treatment.

The conditions of the driver, her unborn child, and the three other passengers have not yet been released.
