Bristol police investigating possible shooting

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Bristol are investigating a possible shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

An unidentified woman, 21, suffered non-life threatening injuries after being hit in the upper torso with what police think was a pellet or other small caliber ammunition.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Davis Drive.

Police said friends drove the victim to the hospital. It was then that police learned of the incident after being notified by New Britain General Hospital.
