Free dental clinic begins this weekend in East Lyme

EAST LYME, Conn. (WTNH) — A free dental clinic is expecting nearly 800 people to walk through their doors this weekend in East Lyme.

The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach, in collaboration with the Connecticut State Dental Association have announced that the inaugural Connecticut Mission of Mercy Mini MOM Free Dental Clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 and Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at the East Lyme High School on 30 Chesterfield Street in East Lyme.

The clinic is designed to help serve the uninsured in Southeastern Connecticut. The 600 volunteers will provide cleanings, extractions, fillings, fluoride, treatments, and x-rays. Up to 400 patients will be seen each day on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open at 6:00 a.m.
