Hartford man arrested in string of convenience store burglaries


WESTBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) – State police say they have made an arrest in a string of convenience store robberies spanning a year and a half. Kevin Marshall, 50, of Hartford was arrested after a long investigation.  State Police say from January 2014 through July 2015, Marshall and another man were involved in at least six convenience store burglaries, including four in the town of Haddam, one in Middlefield, and one in Killingworth.

State Police say Marshall had an accomplice, Samuel Marshall of Hartford.  Marshall was killed in a car wreck in August of 2015 on I-84 in West Hartford.

Marshall is facing a list of charges including Burglary and Larceny. He’s being held on $300,000 bond.
