Police find car involved in attempted Bridgeport abduction

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Bridgeport police have located the car that they say was involved in an attempted abduction on Monday.

Police say the gray Toyota Corolla was discovered on Thursday in New Haven and is currently in the custody of the Bridgeport Police Department. Police also say the suspect has been identified, but no arrests have been made yet.

The driver of the Toyota lured the victim into her car by offering the victim a ride to school on a cold day.

Once the victim was in the car, the driver assaulted the victim.

The victim bailed out of the Toyota while it was traveling west on Boston Ave.

The Toyota then made a u-turn at Dover Street and traveled east on Boston Ave. continuing into the town of Stratford
