Bridgeport woman arrested for credit card theft

WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Westport police have arrested a 21-year-old woman wanted from a larceny and credit card theft investigation.

Police say in July 2014 they learned that Geralda Francilme of Bridgeport allegedly stole a coworker’s debit card and illegally used them.

Westport police worked along with the Peoples Bank Fraud Department and the Stop and Shop Loss Prevention to identify the suspect after the crime. Westport police took Francilme into custody on October 8.

She was charged with sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft, and illegal use of a credit card. She is being held on bond and is due in court on October 19.
