I-95 north in Clinton reopened after car fire

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH)– A car fire closed a portion of I-95 northbound in Clinton Tuesday morning. The road has since reopened.

The Department of Transportation reports that the highway was closed between Exits 62 and 63 on the northbound side because of a motor vehicle accident. The left lane is now open for travel.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. There is no word on if there are any injuries.
