Bear found roaming high school

MONTANA (WTNH)– A bear was caught on camera roaming the halls of a Montana high school Wednesday morning.

According to the Associated Press, the black bear entered the school through the garage door and was spotted in the cafeteria around 7:30 a.m. The bear then hit the football field before deciding to walk down the halls until being ushered out by a police officer.

“This is my first ‘bear-in-a-building’ experience. It just kind of landed in our lap,” said Principal Kevin Conwell told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

No injuries were reported and classes were not delayed.

The superintendent said the bear was only in the building for a few minutes before classes began.
