East Hampton woman arrested for injuring child

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A 24-year-old East Hampton woman has been arrested after police say she injured a child in her care.

East Hampton police say 24-year-old Felicia Marie O’Brien of East Hampton was taken into custody on October 14. Police say the arrest stemmed from an investigation into injuries a child sustained while in her care.

O’Brien was charged with risk of injury to a minor and intentional cruelty to persons. She is being held on a $250,000 bond and is due in court on October 15.
