Gas prices steadily dropping across the state

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– How much do you pay for gas? It’s a sure bet your shelling out less now to filler’ up than just a few months ago. Now we are seeing gas prices just under $2.00.

Prices have been steadily dropping across the state for the past month.

Drivers across the country are seeing some relief at the pumps. Gas prices have fallen about 50 cents in less than five months. Nationally the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is down to $2.30 .

News 8 was at a gas station Thursday morning that was busy with lots of people taking advantage of the lower gas prices.
