Middletown man arrested for child exploitation

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — State police have arrested a Middletown man wanted after a child exploitation investigation.

State police say detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit conducted a lengthy investigation into child exploitation. The investigation identified 42-year-old John G. Huff of Middletown as the suspect.

Detectives were granted a Search and Seizure warrant, and seized several electronic items, including a computer, from Huff. Detectives then obtained an arrest warrant for Huff.

Huff has been charged with second-degree criminal attempt at sex assault, and criminal attempt at risk of injury/ impairing morals of a minor. He was given a $50,000 bond and is due in court on October 21.
