Police seize 92 bags of K2 in New London narcotics bust

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — Two New London residents have been arrested after police say they were operating a drug factory.

Police arrested 31-year-old Anthony Anderson and 30-year-old Jessica Anderson of New London after a narcotics investigation. Police say they served a search and seizure warrant at 58 West Coit Street at 9 a.m. on Friday where they located 92 bags of synthetic marijuana (commonly known as K2) with a street value of almost $4,000.

Police say they also located a facsimile firearm, drug packaging paraphernalia and over $1,300. Police also seized a vehicle as a result of the arrests.

Anthony and Jessica Anderson were both charged with three counts of risk of injury to a minor, operating a drug factory, possession of hallucinogenics, and possession of hallucinogenics to intent to sell.
