Bridgeport Police Investigate Attempted Kidnapping

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) –  Bridgeport police are investigating an attempted kidnapping.

The incident was reported Tuesday morning in the area of Norman Street and Fairfield Avenue. Police say a man in a black car approached an 11-year-old girl and asked her to get inside. The girl refused.

Police are treating this incident as seriously as another attempted kidnapping was caught on camera earlier this month. Towanna Randall is facing charges after police say she lured a teen into her car and sexually assaulted her. The teen jumped out of a moving car to get away.
