Police make arrest in July Hamden robbery

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hamden Police have arrested a man they say robbed a Prospect Lane home back on July 30.

22-year-old Jacob Williams of New Haven faces burglary and larceny charges. Investigators say Williams broke into the back of the home through an open window. Once inside, several items were taken from the house including a computer and a cell phone. The residents of that home were sleeping while the robbery occurred. Williams was taken into custody on Monday.

Williams was detained on a court ordered $50,000 bond.
