SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — South Windsor police are warning residents about a postcard scam in the area.

According to the South Windsor Police Department Facebook Page, residents are receiving postcards, promising to mail you jewelry once the resident provides their credit card information.

Police are telling residents that this is a scam, and are urging them to just throw the postcard away if they receive it.

Police say, “Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
