HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police arrested a New Haven teen for robbing a flat screen television and electronics from a Hamden home back in August.
According to officials, police obtained an arrest warrant for Dontell Littlejohn, 18, and arrested him on Oct. 20.
Police responded to reports of suspicious activity in the area of Winchester Ave on Aug. 24 in the early morning hours. Officers spotted 3 people walking on Winchester Ave carrying a flat screen television and other electronic equipment, police said.
Investigations revealed that the items were just stolen moments before, from a home on Mill Rock Road, while the residents were asleep inside.
Almost two months later, Littlejohn was arrested and charged with second degree burglary, sixth degree larceny and third degree criminal mischief. He was held on $50,000 bond and arraigned later that day.
