Woman hits parked cars, building while texting and driving

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say a woman struck parked cars and then a building in Hartford on Tuesday morning.

Hartford Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley said a woman was texting and driving on Tuesday morning when she hit parked cars and the Caribbean American Society building at 181 Homestead Avenue.

Police say there are very minor injuries and very minor damage to the building.

Police did not release the woman’s name and did not say if she received a citation for the incident.
