Danielson man arrested on gun charges

BROOKLYN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Danielson man has been arrested for a July shooting after an investigation.

State police say 36-year-old Michael Collins fired his gun inside his home, causing a minor injury to another person. It’s not clear if he was targeting anyone.

The Athol Street man was arrested on Tuesday and is charged with illegal sale/transfer of a handgun and illegal possession of a firearm. He was released on $25,000 bond and is due in Danielson Superior Court on November 18.
