Dannel Malloy

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Governor Malloy has announced an initiative to help protect resources across the coastline.  Malloy announced a series of historic preservation initiatives Thursday.  The idea is to strengthen the state’s commitment to prepare for and respond to disasters, ensuring the protection of historic sites along the shoreline.

Projects include items such as surveys of historic neighborhoods, the development of a mobile app for owners of historic homes, among other steps designed to support the four coastal counties of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London.
