Gov. Malloy stumps for Clinton in New Hampshire

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP/WTNH) — Governor Dannel Malloy will campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton in New Hampshire on Thursday.

Governor Malloy is expected to back Clinton’s plan to combat gun violence in Lebanon Thursday afternoon. Malloy has called for stronger gun control legislation, following the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown where 26 students and staff were killed.

Clinton has proposed comprehensive federal background check requirements, for gun show and internet sales; and repealing certain immunity protections for the gun industry.
