DMV Phone Center service restored

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Service at the DMV Phone Center has been restored on Saturday morning.

On Saturday morning, a service outage from the Verizon phone company caused a shutdown of the DMV Phone Center, making it unable to make or receive calls.

Verizon reported to DMV that a circuit issue is caused the problem at DMV and was “impacted by a higher level outage.”

Service was restored at 10:30 Saturday morning.

Customers can check the DMV website for new online services.
