Honoring those who serve at 16th annual CT Veterans Parade

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — There’s a great way to honor the heros who have served in our armed forces and with Veterans Day on Wednesday, Sunday is the Connecticut Veterans Parade.

Joining us Saturday morning U.S. Navy veteran Warren Rogers and CT Veterans Parade communications director Laura Soll share all the excitement and details behind the 16th annual celebration.

According to Soll, nearly 3,000 veterans are expected to march in the parade, which steps off at 12:30 pm on Sunday Nov. 8. The downtown Hartford will be packed near the State Capitol, through roads like Trinity Street, Pearl Street and Main Street. Everyone gathering to honor those who serve.
