Two men arrested in Hartford summer homicide

Hurst,kHARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Hartford police have arrested two men in connection with a homicide from this past July.  On Sunday, July 26th, police were called to 6 Kenyon Court for a shooting.  They found Everet Scott in the front seat of a car with a bullet wound to his chest. He died at the hospital.

Police got warrants for the arrests of two men, Keith Hurst, 21 and Phillips Williams, 27, both of Hartford.  Williams was already locked up on other charges.  Monday morning, police found and arrested Hurst in an apartment in Wethersfield.  Police grabbed him as he tried to take off out the back door.

Both are charged with Felony Murder, Robbery 1st, and other charges.  Both have long criminal records.
