BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- The Branford Food Pantry’has over 2,000 pounds of turkey, thanks to coffee lovers. Dunkin Donuts helped deliver 166 turkeys, weighing a total of 2,034 pounds!

Dunkin Donuts franchisees in Guilford, Clinton and Killingworth all helped out. And the donations come just in time for the holiday, and will feed 500 families between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Without the donation the Food Pantry would not have been able to reach their goal, and feed all the needy families, because of a turkey shortage.

The best part– it was the customers who helped make this possible. For every “turkey decorated donut” purchased, one pound of turkey would be donated.
