Two Waterbury schools evacuated after threat

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Two schools in Waterbury were evacuated Thursday morning after a threat was made.

According to Waterbury public schools, a phone call with an unspecified threat was made to Crosby High School around 10. Both the high school and Wallace Middle School, which are on the same campus, were evacuated as a precaution.

The district brought in school buses to keep students dry while the police department investigated the threat. Police gave the all-clear around 10:45, and allowed students back into the schools.
