ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) — On Wednesday, Ansonia Police with the Anti-Crime Unit executed a search warrant at 218 North State St in Ansonia and located crack-cocaine and heroin packaged for sale in a bedroom, according to a police report.
Approximately 12.6 grams of crack-cocaine and heroin were seized from the apartment, as well as around $1,100 in cash. Police say the narcotics were discovered in the bedroom of Edmundo Coriano, who was arrested. He was charged with 2 counts of possession of narcotics, 2 counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotic s within 1500 feet of a school.
Coriano was held on $50,000 bond and presented at Derby Court on Tuesday.
