1 hospitalized after Wethersfield house fire

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — One person was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Wethersfield on Wednesday night.

The Wethersfield Fire Department said they were called to a working house fire at 362 Brimfield Road on Wednesday night. Fire officials say an elderly woman got out and is receiving treatment and an elderly male had to be rescued. He was taken to the hospital.

Officials did not know his condition.

Rocky Hill Fire assisted in putting out the fire.
