Man Arrested for Carrying Gun

New London, Conn. (WTNH) – Police arrested a man for carrying a gun that he didn’t have a permit for. The New London Police Department’s Patrol Division say that they saw Donnie Moor Junior walking near Williams Street and State Pier Road on Tuesday night just after 10:00PM.

An officer recognized Moore from prior contacts and recently learned that he could have a firearm on him.  After investigating Moore, they found that he had a loaded .22 Caliber Pistol on him without a permit.   He was arrested and charged with Possession of a Pistol without a Permit 29-35.  He’s being held on $50,000 cash/surety bond.
