A Rainy Finish Today-Colder Next Week!

Rain is slowly moving our way and it will be a soggy afternoon and evening. Mild air is still around through tomorrow morning then cooling tomorrow afternoon. Here are your Thursday Connecticut weather headlines:

  • The line of rain west of Connecticut will arrive locally this afternoon
  • The wind will pick up through the afternoon and evening too
  • A slow evening commute is expected
  • The rain will get heavier 6PM-Midnight
  • Thunder possible
  • Winds of 20-30 mph likely with a few shoreline towns at 40mph
  • A sharp edge to the rain area should leave Connecticut by 6AM tomorrow morning
  • Sunshine for much of Friday as temperatures slowly fall through the 50s
  • Windy at times Friday
  • Dry for evening football games
  • Saturday will be dry all day. Good news for “The Game” Yale/Harvard and also our Food Drive at ShopRite in East Haven

  • A quick shower in the morning Sunday. Not much and there could be a few flakes mixed in across the high elevations.
  • Dry and colder weather for next week
  • Good news for travel locally for much of next week

Have a good day! -Gil
