Pressure to Keep Airport Runways Clean

Winter is slowly approaching and airports are under a significant amount of pressure to keep all travelers safe. Airports this winter are under a close eye to keep runways cleared of ice and snow during the cold weather months. Not doing this could result in a very expensive fine. Just last year the FAA proposed a $200,000 civil penalty against the Detroit Airport related to icy conditions on a runway in November 2014. Fortunately, this will help to keep all travelers safe during the holiday travels. There are no worries of any winter weather in our forecast for the next 8 days.
