EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — From apple to blueberry, pecan to pumpkin, Granny’s Pie Factory has 57 different kinds of pies that will fit very nicely on your Thanksgiving table.
General Manager Niko Harovas has been in the family business since he was a child, “We live the pie life. Pie is our life and we live it. Pie’s not everyone’s life, but it’s ours.”
“It’s those people back there who really you know put the time in, put the effort in to make sure the product coming out of our place is as good as it can be,” says Harovas of the pie bakers. All of the garnishes on top of the pies are done completely by hand.
It’s that time and dedication that shows how the bakers over at Granny’s Pie Factory are truly “Working for Connecticut.”
