Latest car trend: Connectivity

(WTNH) — Whether you’re in the market for a new car or just looking for an upgrade, new models are offering some impressive, state of the art technology. Teresa spoke to Senior Analyst from Autotrader, Michelle Krebs, and Buick’s Brand Manager Rob Peterson about trends from the latest Los Angeles Auto Show.

Some of the most popular trends for new models are focused on luxury and performance on manyin increasing amounts of convertibles and sport utility vehicles. However, technology has become the most standard feature on most vehicles. Back up cameras and bling spot detectors are becoming more important than the color or horsepower of the car. A rise in connectivity to mobile devices has caused an increased number of Wi-Fi capabilities in standard models. There has also been more models equipped with voice command technology with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto being featured in center displays.
