East Windsor police investigating attempted break-in and assault

EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) – East Windsor police are investigating an attempted break-in and assault.

It happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday on Depot Street.

Two men were seen by a neighbor as they attempted to break into a home.

Police tell News 8 that the neighbor chased the two men to a nearby apartment complex and grabbed ahold of one of the men.

When the neighbor grabbed one of the suspects, police said the two men assaulted the person.

They were able to get away before police arrived.
