Police looking for 2 robbery, assault suspects

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Bristol police are searching for two suspects who robbed and assaulted two victims at gunpoint Thursday morning.

At about 2:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of Birge Pond on a report of a robbery.

Police say the two victims were in a parked car when another vehicle pulled up behind them. The victims told police that two suspects smashed their front windows out at the same time and forced them out of the car at gunpoint.

The suspects robbed the male victim’s wallet and assaulted the two victims, who both sustained non-life threatening injuries.The suspects then stole the victim’s car and fled the area, according to police.

Officers describe the suspects as black males, about six feet tall with an athletic build. One of the suspects was wearing red basketball shoes.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a grey or silver colored older model Subaru Forester SUV with only one working headlight. Police say the stolen car is a 2006 black BMW Model 325 xi with Connecticut license plate 8AVEP7.
