West Hartford Robberies

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Two robberies in West Hartford over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The first was Friday, November 27th at 10:30 pm in the area of Walbridge Rd and Farmington Ave. Two groups were robbed at gunpoint. The suspects fled but officers found a stolen Nissan SUV they believe was involved in the event. They say the two suspects are 15-20 years old.

The second robbery happened at St. Thomas Church on Sunday, November 29th. A parishioner was walking to the rectory, from the church, when he was overpowered by the suspect. The victim was injured and had to go the hospital. An undetermined amount of money was taken from the victim.
