BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Crews are working to repair a water main break in the area of 190 East Road in Bristol on Thursday night.
According to the Bristol Water Department’s Facebook page, crews are on the scene of a water main break in a residential area of East Road. Officials say that until the valves are closed, the homes in higher elevation in the area may experience low pressure or no water.
Once the leak is shut off, officials expect the repairs to take up to 4-6 hours. An area on East Road from Greystone to Hill will remain off until the break is repaired.
It is not known how many homes have been impacted by the break.
