WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A drug dealer was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Wallingford after a police investigation found he was selling drugs from his home.

According to police, officers arrested 22 year old Rashod Newton and charged him with three counts of sales of narcotics and three counts of possession of narcotics.

Officers served both an arrest warrant and a search and seizure warrant at a home on Tremper Drive after a two month long investigation into the selling of crack cocaine from the home.

Police say Newton had previous convictions for other drug related charges, as well as carrying a pistol without a permit, and interfering with police. He will be formally charged in court on December 16.
