NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — Local and state police have arrested 11 men and women following a months-long undercover investigation at a Norwalk strip club reputedly frequented by gang members.
Dozens of arrest warrants and two search warrants were executed Tuesday in the culmination of a probe into the Office Cafe.
Lt. James Walsh says the investigation began following dozens of complaints and tips regarding the club, which prosecutors say is a known hotspot for Bloods, Crips and motorcycle gangs.
Walsh says both drug trafficking and prostitution occurred inside the club by its employees and “favored patrons.”
Officers seized records, liquor and $16,000 from the club.
Among those arrested was the club’s owner.
Several suspects are still wanted and the investigation is ongoing.
