Willimantic Police arrest man after violent domestic dispute

WILLIAMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — 32-year-old Travis Mills of Willimantic heads to court on Thursday for assaulting his ex-girlfriend at in her apartment.

Police say Mills entered the apartment and started choking her before getting away on Tuesday.

Willimantic Police Officer John John and his K-9 partner Sasa arrested him walking streets away. The victim was not seriously injured and refused medical attention.

Mills is being charged with violation of a protective order, burglary, disorderly conduct, assault and strangulation. He’s being held on $50,000 bond.
