Fire breaks out in Canton home

CANTON, Conn. (WTNH)– A fire is now under control after flames ripped through a home in Canton.

Fire crews worked for hours Saturday night to extinguish the flames on Old Canton Road after the fire broke out just before 11 p.m. No one was injured.

Officials are still working to figure out what sparked the fire. There were several hot spots and the fire took a couple of hours to put out.

The incident remains under investigation. There is no further information at this time.
