MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) – Middletown police arrested a man late Thursday after a report of a threat made about a gun.  Just before midnight police got a call to 50 Stoneycrest Drive where a woman said that Justin Molinaro had gestured toward his waistband and said, “I got a gun.”

Police say they found Molinaro in a car in the neighborhood.  They say there was a strong smell of alcohol in the car and that Molinaro had a hard time standing up by himself.  He failed a field sobriety test.  During the ride to police headquarters officers say Molinaro was smashing his head against the cage in the cruiser.  During the booking process police say Molinaro made a number of threats to kill police officers.

Molinaro is facing a list of charges including Threatening, Failure to Fingerprint and Breach of Peace.
