Report-It Recap December 11, 2015

(WTNH) — The Report-It Recap inbox is full of holiday cheer. First off, Happy Hanukkah! Since Sunday you’ve been lighting the menorahs and sending us the pictures.

The ginger bread houses are out in full force. All of them very creative and they look delicious.

Santa has been making the rounds. Landen got to meet him for the first time on the Essex Steam Train. It seems everyone is making a visit to see Santa. And don’t worry, you’re never too old to sit on St. Nick’s lap.

Sargent and Ranger in Bristol – are ready for Christmas. The stockings are hung. Elf on the shelf is getting all dolled up.

Hubbard park in Meriden all lit up. So are your Christmas trees. All of them have their own unique style and design. It’s clear, the kids and animals love to be around them.

You’re decorating just about everything. Like Silver Sands Beach in Milford, Fire station # 9 in Hamden, tractors, sailboats. Even your pets.

Your homes still shining brighter and brighter.

Finally, ‘tis the season for giving. Kids in New Haven collected food for those in need. And the owner of Snap Fitness bought breakfast for the brave service members from Camp Niantic. No good deeds goes unrecognized.
