Wethersfield man arrested after ‘rambling’ emails sent to school principal

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have arrested a Wethersfield man who allegedly sent emails to the principal of Hillcrest School with references to violence, rape, and children.

41-year-old Anthony Wall faces a charge of harassment in the second degree after police say he constantly sent emails alleging there were children being abused at the school and that the crimes were being covered up. The school principal forwarded the disturbing emails to the director of security at Wethersfield Schools who in turn, contacted the police.

Police say at least 16 times over the past seven years, they have received complaints regarding Wall disturbing other people via electric communication.

Wall’s bond was set at $100,000.
