Bristol Police investigating suspicious vehicle incident

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) – Bristol Police are investigating after a van pulled up next to a child and asked if the child wanted candy.

It happed around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday on Park Hill Road by Rockwell Park.

Police describe the vehicle as a white van with a sliding side door and dirt along the bottom trim of the car.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a white man, approximately 40 years of age, with a brown beard and brown eyes. He was wearing a red, white and blue hat.
