Federal Charges Dismissed for Kyle Navin

Bridgeport, Conn. (WTNH) – Federal prosecutors have decided to drop the federal gun charges against the man that police say murdered his parents.

Kyle Navin was arrested for killing his parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin.   The couple was missing since August, and their remains were found in October on property on Norfield Road in Westport. Navin is currently being held in the Northern Corrrectional Institution in Somers.  His girlfriend, Jennifer Valiante is being charged with conspiracy to commit murder. She is being held at York Correctional Institution in Niantic.
